Timber Buildings - Abkabin Range
We are pleased to introduce the Abkabin range.
A range of unique styles of timber cabins and garages. All our buildings are produced at one of Sweden's premier manufacturing plants, utilising the latest machinery and highly skilled personnel. All the timber used to produce the components is sourced from Sweden's quality Redwood and Whitewood forests under the close scrutiny of certified forest control.
Sweden has a long tradition in the building of cabins and all the Abkabin range is built to the highest specification, resistant to the extremes of the Scandinavian climate.
The cabins are flat packed and fully six side wrapped with simple instructions in English. The packaging of each cabin allows for easy handing, storage and delivery. Planning permission, for the majority of our Abkabin range, will not be necessary but should you require elevated drawings for this purpose, please do not hesitate to ask. Individual insulation packs for some cabins (apart from the Stockholm range which are fitted as standard) are available for the walls, floor and roof. Please note this is an optional extra and prices are available on request.

Sälen 60
Our most popular timber house which has been delivered to many different areas including the Alps. Sälen has a very practical floor plan on the ground floor and generous space on the upper floor allowing comfortable living for the whole family.
A sturdy timber facade, covered deck and balcony combined with spaciousness between the levels (dining area to loft ) give Sälen its special character.

Stockholm 50
A spacious holiday dwelling, the Stockholm 50 is exclusive, warm and built to the highest quality. With a floor area of 50m², the Stockholm 50 is the largest of the Abkabin range. It is constructed with 58mm double T&G sections, and has a projecting roof providing good shelter for the 19.75m² terrace. The terrace itself is constructed from pressure treated timber, as are the 45mm x 195mm floor bearers. The floor and roof are fully insulated with mineral wool insulation to a thickness of 195mm. All internal walls are included. All inner doors are constructed in a rustic style with lacquered door panels and come complete with door furniture and ready hinged.
The Stockholm 50 comes with fully triple glazed windows, an external Sweedor complete with handle and lock. The Stockholm's special feature is an internal timber balcony complete with timber balustrade and access ladder.
Shingle tiles for the roof are available as an option and come in to different colours (Black and Red).

Stockholm 40
A wonderful timber cottage with a projecting roof giving good protection for the 19.75m² timber terrace.
With an internal floor area of 40m², the Stockholm 40 is the smaller version of the Stockholm 50 , the only difference being it has one less room. The specification therefore is identical to its bigger brother, and as such makes the perfect holiday cabin for a family of four.
Shinlge tiles for the roof are available as an option and come in to different colours (Black and Red).
Please note that steps are not included with the cabin.

Gothenburg 26
An ideal fishing lodge, camping lodge or summerhouse produced from 43mm x 145mm T&G boarding; with a floor area of 26.5m² the Gothenburg 26 is the largest of the Gothenburg range. The roof is supported with 60mm x 145mm purlins, and is covered with a fine underlay felt. The floor is constructed from 45mm x 120mm frames, and 35mm x 120mm floor beams, both pressure treated. The internal floor is constructed from 22mm thick T&G floor boards. The Gothenburg 26 has four, side hung, 2-coupled glass windows. Handle and locks for the external entrance door is also included.
All internal doors come ready hinged and complete with door furniture. The terrace adds 8.1m² to the floor space, and stands on pressure treated 45mm x 120mm frames, 35mm x 120mm beams, and the terrace deck itself is pressure treated. Please note that steps are not included with the cabin.

Kalmer 15
The perfect family Summerhouse, one of the most popular in the Abkabin range, the Kalmar's 15.5m² floor space (boosted with a 7.5m² timber terrace) is the perfect size for home office, or family summerhouse. The walls are constructed using 43mm T&G boarding, the roof from 60mm x 145mm and 45mm X 145mm purlins. A fine sawn ceiling is covered on the outside with an underlay roof felt. Double barge boards for the facia are also included. The Kalmar comes with 2 coupled glass windows and an external entrance door with window, locks and handles.

Malmo 10
This multi-purpose cabin is a natural choice for your garden, twinned in design with the Karlstad, but containing on 80cm x 100cm gable window, as opposed to the 80cm x 180cm window found in the Karlstad. The Malmo is identical in all respects to the Karlstad. Constructed using 43mm boarding, treated floor beams and floor match boarding, the Malmo has a protected terrace of 2.7m². An external door with handle and lock is included.
