About Abwood Homes
Abwood Homes is a Wicklow based company which was founded in 1985 by George Smullen.
Initially concentrating on the garden shed and timber fencing market Abwood Homes soon became the market leader. Continuous expansion has seen the company move into other areas such as timber housing, home offices, garden studios, etc.
The company now supplies a vast array of timber, fencing and decking products to cater for both the trade and retail market. Using computerised woodworking machinery, Abwood Homes manufactures its distinctive range of timber buildings, sheds, fencing and other timber products at its factory at Knocklow, Tullow, Co Carlow. This is also the base for the production of concrete fencing posts, panels and associated products.
Abwood Homes has garden shed display areas at Timore, Co Wicklow and Blakes Cross, Lusk, Co. Dublin and sells garden sheds through a network of agents including many of the Woodies DIY Group.
